Gifts to the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education play an essential role in helping us to carry out our mission and move forward with our most important initiatives. The Gevirtz School is dedicated to training professionals and conducting research in order to promote the healthy development of children, adolescents, and adults both in schools and the larger society. The Gevirtz School enrolls approximately 400 graduate students and 300 undergraduate minors in applied psychology and education. The Gevirtz School is comprised of the Department of Education, the Teacher Education Program, and the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology.
At the Gevirtz School, we invest in people – students, faculty, and our educational community. One of the most significant priorities for the Gevirtz School this year is to encourage philanthropic support from our alumni, faculty/staff, friends, and community stakeholders. We hope you will invest in us by making a gift to one of the following funds or contacting us to discuss other giving opportunities.
Alumni Fellowship Fund: The Alumni Fellowship Fund provides fellowship support to deserving Gevirtz School students to help reduce the costs of their education. You can direct your gift specifically to students in the Education Department, the Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology Department, or the Teacher Education Program.
GGSE Dean’s Fund: Contributions to the Dean's Fund are used by the Gevirtz School's Dean to meet the School's highest priorities, which may include graduate student fellowships, faculty research and projects, and essential equipment and technology.
Opportunity Funds: Gifts to these opportunity funds may be used flexibly to support research, purchase equipment, software, supplies, travel, or presentations that will advance the leading edge of our students, faculty, or staff in the following areas of the Gevirtz School:
Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology
Department of Education
Koegel Autism Center
Teacher Education Program
The Marilyn Gevirtz Memorial Fund was created to honor the memory of Marilyn Gevirtz, a driving force and visionary investor in our Educational community. All gifts to this fund will be used to support students of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education.
